The Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association (OGCMA) is pleased to announce its 2013 Saturday Night Entertainment schedule, which will kick into high gear with “Raise The Roof,” a benefit for Sandy Recovery on Saturday June 15, 2013.
All performances will take place in the historic Great Auditorium. Although the roof sustained severe damage during the storm, a temporary structure is in place which will allow the pop and classical concerts, organ recitals and religious programs to continue uninterrupted this season. 100% of the proceeds from the “Raise The Roof” benefit will go towards restoring this deeply treasured landmark.
“Ocean Grove is a unique Christian seaside community that was founded in 1869, and we want the public to know that we will be ‘open for business’ this summer as we have been for 144 years,” said Dr. Dale C. Whilden, OGCMA’s President. “Our message is come back to Ocean Grove to enjoy our recreational, cultural, educational and spiritual programs all summer long.”
